I feel like the glowy skin trend is back and better than ever this summer and I'm not mad about it. Over the past few months I've been trying out some different brands of foundations & tints to share my favourites with you guys! These are in no particular order as some may work better on different skin types. All were tested by myself and I have combo skin that fairs slightly on the drier side.
OG BABE - MAC Face and Body Foundation ($40.00)
This foundation has been a Makeup Artist staple for years and boy is there a good reason! It is a very liquidy consistency and i definitely recommend using a brush to apply as a sponge can soak up a lot of extra product. Its starts out sheer but this foundation is so buildable and lightweight its amazing! It dries down to a very velvety dewy finish and works well paired with a hydrating concealer and set with a loose powder.
BALLIN ON A BUDGET - Essence Pretty Natural Hydrating Foundation($8.99)
This one shook me you guys. It is literally eight dollars and wore better than some of my luxury foundations. One set with a loose powder I had minimal transfer while wearing a face mask all day! That's a win for me. It is almost a sticky texture but blends perfectly with a damp sponge. The coverage starts at medium but can be build to cover any blemishes. This would be perfect for a variety of skin types with its versatility.
GODLY GLOW - Urban Decay HydroManiac Tinted Glow Hydrator($39.00)
The perfect everyday tint in my opinion. This is a very lightweight and
breathable tint with a more light coverage. It is perfect for small touch ups before running errands or for days where you plan to be more active and don't have the time of day for a full foundation. The shade range is wonderful and it is formulated with some awesome ingredients. I highly recommend setting this with a loose powder for better staying powder and a concealer for spot coverage.
BLURRED & TINTED - Fenty Beauty Blurring Skin Tint ($39.00)
GIRLLLLLL; if you haven't tried the Fenty skin tint where have you been!? This product is extremely lightweight & liquidy but easily buildable. I highly recommend applying with a brush as it is a similar texture to the Mac Face & Body. The shade range that Fenty brings out is impeccable as well ranging from super fair to deep dark there is something to suit everyone & their undertones. Perfect for an easy summer tint or it can be build up to a fuller coverage look as well!
Those are the 4 main babies in my current foundation line up for glowy, sun kissed skin! Do you have a favourite that I missed; let a girl know!
